Axim ES-2200-S Universal Electric Strike 12/24V Fail Safe/Secure

The Axim ES-2200-S is a universal ANSI-style electric strike for commercial access control installations on metal and timber door frame applications. Dual-voltage (12V or 24V) and dual-mode (fail safe or fail secure) are both field-selectable on site, making the ES-2200-S one of the most versatile electric strikes available — a single product covers virtually all standard electric strike applications without needing to specify separate units for different voltages or security requirements.

The stainless steel short and long faceplates are supplied as standard, covering both timber and metal frame applications. 25mm and 50mm extension lips are available separately for offset striker applications.

Fail Safe vs Fail Secure — Which Do I Need?

Fail safe — strike releases when power is cut. Required on fire escape routes and public access doors.

Fail secure — strike locks when power is cut. For secure areas where the door must remain locked during a power failure. Not suitable for fire escape routes.
