The Axim PR7085 is a concealed vertical rod panic exit device designed for single-leaf timber and steel doors requiring compliance with BS EN 1125. Concealed vertical rods run inside the door leaf and engage strikes at both the top and bottom of the frame, providing secure two-point locking when the door is closed. A single push of the crossbar simultaneously retracts both rods, allowing the door to open immediately — meeting the panic exit requirement without any additional operation from the user.

The PR7085 is non-handed, meaning it can be installed on either left or right hand doors without modification. The concealed rod design keeps the door face clean and is well suited to commercial and public building applications where aesthetics matter alongside function.
