Axim RE-700 Extension Rod with Coupler

Axim RE-700 extension rod with coupler for the Axim PR-7000 series concealed rod panic exit devices. The extension rod is used on taller-than-standard doors where the standard top rod length is insufficient to reach the top strike — required on doors taller than 2135mm. The coupler connects the extension rod to the existing standard rod, extending its reach without replacing the full device.

Selecting the Right Length

Measure the door height and subtract 2135mm — the result is the minimum extension required. Select the 300mm rod if the additional length needed is 300mm or less; select the 600mm rod for taller doors. If the door exceeds 2735mm, contact us as a double extension may be required.
