Axim Transom Closer Arm & Channels

Arm and channel sets for use with Axim 8800 and 9900 series transom closers. The arm and channel connects the transom closer body to the door frame, transmitting the closing force from the closer to the frame. Four configurations are available to suit different door and frame profiles — standard side load, end load, narrow side load, and pinch-free side load.

Configurations

• Standard Side Load & Channel (8800-T13) — the most common configuration, suitable for the majority of standard aluminium door and frame installations
• End Load & Channel (8800-015) — for installations where the arm must engage the channel from the end rather than the side, typically used with specific frame profiles
• Narrow Side Load & Channel (8800-01) — for narrow frame profiles where the standard side load arm would not fit
• Pinch Free Side Load (8800-13) — incorporates a finger-protection shield to prevent finger trapping between the arm and channel — required in schools, healthcare buildings, and other environments where finger trap risk must be minimised

If replacing an existing arm and channel, check the configuration of the existing installation and match to the variants above. If you are unsure, a photograph of the existing arm and channel will allow us to confirm the correct replacement.
