Clearline Teleflex Chain Units

Clearline Teleflex chain window opener units for manual operation of top-hung, side-hung, and roof windows. The stainless steel chain extends when the handle is turned, pushing the window open to a controlled position, and retracts to pull the window closed. Suitable for timber, aluminium, steel, and PVC-U window frames, the Clearline chain unit is the standard manual window operator used across commercial, educational, and residential buildings throughout the UK.

Available in 250mm and 400mm chain travel options, in White, Black, and Grey — the unit body and chain colour match the window frame or handle for a clean, coordinated finish. The handle is sold separately.

Selecting the Right Travel

The chain travel determines how far the window will open. 250mm travel is suitable for standard ventilation applications. 400mm travel is used where a wider opening is required — for example on larger windows or where increased ventilation is needed. Measure the required window opening before selecting.
