dormakaba Floor Springs Spindles

A wide range of floor spring spindles and floor pivots for dormakaba BTS series floor springs. The spindle is the vertical pin on which the door pivots — its length must match the door construction and floor covering depth. Spindle length is calculated from the top of the floor spring body to the underside of the door shoe.

Calculating the Correct Spindle Length

Measure the distance from the top of the installed floor spring body to the bottom of the door shoe position. Select the spindle that matches this measurement. If between sizes, select the next size up. Contact us with the floor spring model, door type, and floor covering thickness if unsure.
