dormakaba 9700 Panic Latch

The dormakaba 9700 series is a rim panic latch fitted to the face of the door, providing secure locking of single-leaf escape route doors via a 19mm dead-locking latchbolt that engages a keeper on the door frame. Suitable for commercial buildings, schools, hospitals, and other public buildings where a surface-mounted panic device is required. Finished in satin stainless steel.

The 9700 is a cost-effective alternative to the concealed rod 9800 series for applications where aesthetics are less critical. Two sizes are available to suit different door widths — size AA for doors up to 1220mm wide (cuttable to 838mm on site) and size CC for doors up to 915mm wide (cuttable to 610mm on site). Motor latch retraction (MLR) variants are available for access control integration.

Size Selection

• 838mm to 1220mm (Size AA) — for wider doors. Can be cut down to 838mm on site.
