dormakaba PHB3000 Series Touch Bars

The dormakaba PHB3000 series is a modular range of surface-mounted touch bar panic hardware for timber and steel escape route doors. The pullman latch mechanism engages a strike in the door frame when the door is closed, and a single push of the touch bar retracts the latch and releases the door — meeting the BS EN 1125 panic exit requirement. The modular design allows the touch bar length to be selected to suit the door width.

Available in 1000mm and 1300mm touch bar lengths, and with a choice of Zinc Die Cast latch or Steel anti-thrust latch — the steel anti-thrust latch provides resistance against latch manipulation attacks and is the preferred specification for higher-security applications.

Selecting the Right Variant

The 1000mm bar suits standard door widths up to approximately 900mm. The 1300mm bar is used on wider doors or where a longer actuation zone is specified. For the latch type, select Steel anti-thrust for higher-security applications; Zinc Die Cast for standard commercial applications.
