Adams Rite is the recognised authority on narrow-stile door hardware. Since the launch of the MS® Maximum Security deadlock in 1955, Adams Rite has been the dominant supplier of locks, latches, and hardware for aluminium-framed doors — the slimline commercial doors found in shopfronts, office entrances, schools, and commercial buildings across the UK.

Narrow-stile aluminium doors present a specific challenge: the stile is too narrow to accommodate standard mortice locks. Adams Rite engineered solutions specifically for this profile, and their products have become the industry standard — the "MS prep" — that glazing manufacturers and door fabricators design around.
