Axim FC1000 Series Rack & Pinion Door Closer

The Axim FC1000 is a surface-mounted rack and pinion overhead door closer for commercial applications where a concealed closer is not suitable — for example where the door bridges a thermal break, on retrofit installations, or where the door construction does not allow morticing. The FC1000 offers a slim-line aluminium body that suits doors opening against adjacent walls where a larger closer body would foul.

FC1000 vs FC1500 — Which Do I Need?

The FC1000 is the standard specification for light commercial applications where backcheck and delayed action are not required. The FC1500 adds adjustable backcheck and delayed action — specify the FC1500 where those features are needed, for example in healthcare buildings or on exposed external doors.
