Floor springs are the closer of choice for large, heavy, or high-specification doors. The mechanism is concealed entirely within a cassette in the floor, leaving the door face completely clear of visible hardware. They are widely used on glazed doors, heavy timber doors, and prestige commercial entrances.

We stock floor springs from dormakaba covering a wide range of door weights and widths, along with all associated accessories: spindles, top pivots, bottom pivots, cover plates, and threshold plates. Both single-action (swing one way) and double-action (swing both ways) models are available.

Floor springs require accurate floor preparation and are typically installed during the construction phase, though replacement of existing units is straightforward with the correct cassette dimensions.
