The GEZE TS550 is a heavy-duty floor spring for commercial doors requiring exceptional closing force, capable of handling door weights up to 300kg and door widths up to 1400mm. This makes it the correct specification for the largest and heaviest commercial doors — oversized entrance doors, heavy glass doors, and high-traffic commercial entrances where standard EN3-EN4 floor springs cannot provide sufficient closing force.

A key feature of the TS550 is the site-selectable hold-open function, adjustable between 85° and 165° — allowing the installer to set the hold-open angle on site without additional hardware. EN3-6 spring strength range and tested to BS EN 1154. CERTIFIRE approved CF259.

When to Specify the TS550

The TS550 is used where the dormakaba BTS 75 V or BTS 80 cannot provide sufficient closing force — typically on doors over 100kg, oversize doors over 1100mm wide, or any installation where the door closer must work harder than standard commercial floor springs allow. For doors within standard parameters, the dormakaba BTS 75 V is the preferred choice.
