Axim TC9900 Universal Transom Closer - Hold Open

The Axim TC-9900 Hold Open is a universal replacement concealed transom closer with mechanical hold-open function, designed to fit the same door preparation as the TC-8800 Hold Open. The TC-9900 uses identical fixing centres and spindle dimensions to the TC-8800, allowing a direct replacement without modification to the door leaf or transom — the ideal solution for replacing a worn or failed TC-8800 Hold Open closer on an existing installation.

Three power sizes — light, medium, and heavy duty — cover the full range of standard commercial door sizes up to 1150mm wide and 100kg. The mechanical hold-open function allows the door to be held open at a set position, with self-closing action when the door is pushed further or pulled closed.

Important — Hold Open and Fire Doors

Mechanical hold-open closers must not be used on fire-rated doors. For fire doors requiring hold-open, an electromagnetic device connected to the fire alarm system is required.
