The dormakaba RTS 85 Non Hold Open is a concealed transom closer for commercial aluminium doors, housed entirely within the door's top rail with no visible hardware on the door face. Three power sizes — EN3, EN4, and EN5 — cover door widths from 950mm up to 1250mm and door weights up to 110kg. Tested to BS EN 1154 and CE marked.

RTS 85 vs Groom GRL050 — Which Do I Need?

Both are concealed transom closers for commercial aluminium doors. The Groom GRL050 covers doors up to EN4 (1100mm), while the RTS 85 extends to EN5 (1250mm) — making the RTS 85 the correct choice for wider doors.
