The dormakaba TS93 is the premium cam action overhead door closer in the dormakaba range, designed for high-specification single-leaf and double-leaf commercial door installations where both performance and aesthetics are critical. The TS93 uses the CONTUR slide arm and channel system — the arm slides along a concealed channel rather than swinging through the arc of a conventional overhead closer arm, reducing the space required above the door and providing a cleaner, more contemporary appearance.
CERTIFIRE approved (CF119) and third-party tested to BS EN 1154, the TS93 is suitable for fire-rated doors. Delayed closing action is supplied as standard, making it particularly suitable for hospitals, care homes, and public buildings where extra time for passage is required. Door widths up to 1250mm (EN2–5) or 1600mm (EN5–7) are covered. The electromechanical hold-open function and door selector can be integrated into the TS93 system for electromagnetic hold-open applications.

Variants — Pull Side vs Push Side
The TS93 is available in push side and pull side variants — the arm and channel configuration differs depending on which side of the door the closer is mounted. In most commercial installations the closer is mounted on the push side (the side the door is pushed to open). Pull side installation is used where the closer must be mounted on the pull side — for example where the door opens towards the closer side and there is insufficient clearance for a standard push-side installation.
