Transom Closers

Transom closers are concealed within the top rail or frame of a glazed door, making them the preferred choice where aesthetics matter — shopfronts, hotel lobbies, office entrances, and anywhere a visible overhead closer would be unsuitable.

We stock transom closers from dormakaba, Groom, Axim, and Adams Rite, covering light-duty through heavy-duty applications up to 120kg door weight. All models are independently tested to BS EN 1154 and available in no-hold-open and fixed-hold-open-at-90° variants. Arms, bottom pivots, fixing brackets, and dummy (free-swing) units are stocked separately to suit your specific frame configuration.
