Lorient LP1004DS Twin Fin intumescent strip for FD30 timber fire doors, sold in boxes of 10 x 2100mm lengths. The DS Twin Fin design combines intumescent fire protection with two flexible fins providing smoke and acoustic sealing in a single product — eliminating the need to fit separate smoke seal and intumescent strips. The 10 x 4mm size suits the most common fire door rebate dimensions.

When exposed to heat, the intumescent core expands to seal the gap between the door and frame against fire. The twin flexible fins maintain a continuous smoke seal under normal conditions, preventing cold smoke passage even before the intumescent element activates.

How Many Lengths Do I Need?

A standard single door requires 3 lengths — one for the top and one for each vertical side. Double doors require 6 lengths. Order extra if lengths need to be cut to fit non-standard door heights.
