Axim 8800 Transom Closer - Non Hold Open

The Axim TC-8800 is a market-leading concealed transom closer for commercial aluminium, timber, and glass doors. The closer is housed entirely within the door leaf and transom, leaving no visible external hardware — making it the preferred choice for high-specification commercial entrances, retail shopfronts, offices, and any installation where aesthetics are a priority alongside performance and compliance.

The TC-8800 Non Hold Open version is the standard specification for fire-rated and general commercial applications where the door must always return to closed. Three power sizes — light, medium, and heavy duty — cover door widths up to 1150mm and door weights up to 100kg.

Selecting the Right Power Size and Spindle

Medium duty covers the majority of standard commercial doors — select for doors up to approximately 900mm wide and 80kg. Standard spindle suits most aluminium profiles; extended spindle (10mm or 15mm) for deeper transom profiles.
